TRIAGE! A Nursing Cabaret

"If only every visit to the Emergency room could be so entertaining....." - Theatre Press

Ever used an IV pole as a stand-in microphone while belting out Beyoncé in the ICU?

Welcome to the curious world of Triage! & Discharged! A Nursing Cabaret, exploring the sometimes cruel, occasionally pleasant, always stressful world of in your face hospital nursing, as seen through the eyes of Triage Nurse: Zuleika Khan - Greenroom & Broadway World Award winner, Division 1 Registered Nurse and Cabaret Starlet! It will leave you with your heart rate elevated, your breathing quicken and an insatiable urge to laugh incontinently!

Written and performed by Zuleika Khan, additional material by Australia's queen of cabaret and musical theatre star team Sally Bourne (Moonshadow, Shane Warne The Musical, Evita the motion picture) and choreographed by Michael Ralph (Singin' In The Rain, Fame, Cats) and Ange Leggas (3 Fates Media).

"What Khan has achieved is beyond incredible......" Australian Stage

"Zuleika Khan belongs on the stage"  Theatre Press

"The stand out voice belonged to Zuleika Khan"  Beat Magazine

Audience testimonials found on facebook page:

"Fantastic show! Loads of laughs, amazing singing, spot on insight into the world of nursing and quite heart felt and genuine. Loved it and cannot recommend this show enough for nurses and non-nurses alike. Thank you Zule :)" Megan, Perth

"Saw the show at The Butterfly Club last Friday. Had the most amazing time! I'm a doctor and I came with a group of ED nurses. We had a blast!!" -  Jessica, Sydney

"W.O.W! Your writing, your stage presence, your moves, that face, and of course YOUR VOICE – simply blew me away. Not since Caroline O’Connor’s Bombshells have I seen such a knockout talent perform. You were mesmorising, hilarious, heart wrenching and smokin’ hot –
sometimes simultaneously!
You bring such soul stirring joy to everyone who’s lucky enough to witness you in action. Feeling inspired, and so very grateful. Thank you." - Jade, Melbourne

"Fantastic show! You captured the humour, frustration, joy and sadness which is part of our job in a very talented way. If you are as talented a nurse as a performer your patients are very lucky. Well done!!" - Donna, Sydney
